» June 2010: Archives administrator Dr. Jeff Stein will speak on the topic "Making Waves: The People & Places of Iowa Broadcasting" at the Story City library on June 22 at 7 p.m. The presentation is sponsored by Humanities Iowa.

» May 2010: New web site launched to better incorporate vintage audio and video clips and photos. The site was created by Jeff Hackbarth, who also designed the original site in 2005. The redesign was two years in the making, and involved about 150 hours worth of work to date.

» March 2010: The Archives are featured during "Festival" on Iowa Public Television as part of a program on television children's shows.

» March 2010: The Archives of Iowa Broadcasting National Advisory Board met on the Wartburg College campus for its annual review of the program and discussion of future plans and goals.

» February 2010: The Archives receives the personal collection of Des Moines broadcast engineer Bob Ogburn, including his vast collection of radio station jingles from across America.

» January 2010: The Archives receives tapes of "Douda's People," a series of personality-based features produced by WOI-TV anchor/reporter Dennis Douda in the 1980s. The set of two dozen tapes includes hundreds of the weekly featuers.

» December 2009: The latest Archives documentary, "Where's Floppy", premiered to sell out crowds at the State Historical Museum in Des Moines.

» October 2009: Archives administrator Dr. Jeff Stein was selected to present on the topic of connecting with the radio audience throughout time as part of the fourth annual Great Plains Radio History Symposium at Kansas State University.
